Thought I'd better check in...

Since I am the one harping on daily blog upkeep, LOL I've been consistent with the body maintenance as well this week. You would definitely be surprised at the refreshing energy just taking a brisk two and a half mile walk affords the tired, stagnant brain. Also, I have been sleeping much better. And yes, Mary and Mickey, ten extra pounds makes a big difference in how the clothes fit. Mine, at the moment, aren't fitting that well:(

BTW - The picture I've included is the neighborhood beach DH and I walked along last week, not a "Footprints in the Sand" rendition. LOL I took it with my cell phone though it really does resemble the poem's usual accompanying imagery, don't you think? And some of those footprints belong to us *grin*

I have also been doing some personal business catch up, which has kept me away my writing the last few days. Hopefully, I'll be back on track shortly. Life does tend to get in the way at times, doesn't it? Responsibility has no bounds.

I'm already looking forward to my next vacation! LOL

Talk to you in a bit...

  1. I'm trying to get back into a daily walk routine, too. I've been terribly bad about exercise lately, and it's so important. Best of luck!

  2. Now that's one beautiful picture. Yet another talent revealed, Dayana.

  3. Hi, Helen and Mickey! Thanks for dropping in.

Wow! It's a rainy stormy night and I never got my walk in the park in today but tomorrow's another day:)

Thanks for the kudos on the pic, Mickey. That phone does take a nice photo, LOL

  4. Not bad for a cell phone. You should carry a good camera with you, (if you have one), when you go for walks, seems you do have another talent.
